Montanoa liebmannii  

Montanoa liebmannii was first described as Polymnia liebmannii by Schultz Bipontinus in Klatt's Leopoldina article in 1887. S. F. Blake renamed the species in 1917 in Contributions of the Gray Herbarium. M. liebmannii is a highly branched shrub with fairly consistent leaves. It has white oblong ray flowers, yellow tubular disc flowers, and dark black-brown achenes.
